I am so proud and honored to be the Superintendent/Principal of Oak View Elementary School. Oak View is a rural TK-8 elementary school located in Acampo with around 390 students and about 50 staff members. We offer class size reduction in grades TK-3 as well as teacher assistants in the primary grades. The active Parent Club organizes and sponsors several events and activities throughout the year including the Annual Crab Feed Dinner, Spirit of the Season, school-wide assemblies, Book Fairs, Jog-a-thon and more. These special programs, events and activities are what make Oak View School such a fabulous place offering the best learning environment for kids.

All of our students are special and unique. It is our goal to keep them safe, as well as give them the best possible education filled with challenging academic material and social situations which build character traits and interpersonal skills. Our staff is committed to every child and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that every child’s needs are met. We strive to create well-rounded students by the time they graduate from 8th grade so they can go off to high school and be a contributing member of society. Our staff demands respect from our students and hands down discipline that holds children accountable for their actions while always remembering that there is a time and place for fun and laughter.
